This coming Saturday, February 18, electronic music heavyweights Skrillex, Fred Again, and Four Tet have planned a live performance at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
The news was made by Skrillex on his Instagram page on Wednesday, and tickets went on sale through Ticketmaster around the same time.
This will be the three’s first gig at a large venue; they had previously staged last-minute shows together in London venues like Troxy and the Electric Ballroom. They’ve been making music together in New York and played to a sold-out crowd at Good Room for Valentine’s Day on Tuesday.

On Monday, Skrillex released his single “Don’t Get Too Close,” which featured Bibi Bourelly. On Friday, he will release his new album “Quest for Fire.” On Tuesday, he used a billboard in Tokyo to hint at the album’s guest stars, which he has confirmed to include Fred Again, Four Tet as well as Missy Elliott, Trippie Redd, Justin Bieber, Pink Pantheress, Chief Keef, Kid Cudi, and others.
His latest burst of productivity kicked out a month ago with the release of “Rumble,” a three-way effort featuring himself, Fred Again, and Flowdan.
Skrillex’s signature long, curly hair and huge spectacles have been replaced with a neat goatee and pulled-back hair for this new track, his first in many months.
A number of unofficial versions of the track have popped up on YouTube in recent weeks, despite no official announcement of the collaboration having been made by any of the three artists. The online buzz began after Fred Again played the song during his run of performances leading up to his recent Boiler Room debut.
Skrillex has been relatively quiet for the past few years, with no new studio albums or EPs having been released since 2019’s “Show Tracks.” However, he did appear on a number of singles in 2021, including ones by J Balvin, Justin Bieber and Don Toliver, Swae Lee and Siickbrain, Starrah and Four Tet, 100 Gecs, and others.
