Plot

Alice (DeWanda Wise), an accomplished businesswoman who had become estranged from her family, returns home when Sarah (Betty Buckley), her estranged mother, dies and discovers an invisible companion named Zephyr (Taegen Burns) waiting there – memories from childhood come flooding back as she revisits old haunts from childhood and becomes haunted by them all over again.

Alice quickly realizes that Zephyr is no mere fantasy: he’s honest and furious that Alice abandoned him. Soon after that, Zephyr begins terrorizing Alice’s daily life despite her attempts at ignoring him; he remains relentless.

Alice realizes she must confront Zephyr and make amends for what has transpired, turning to Ben (Tom Payne), her childhood friend who believes her story, to find a way of defeating Zephyr and saving Alice’s life.
